I’m a stay-at-home mom of three little dudes. It would be easy to lead with that, but I’m just not that boring.
I’m writing from my “Pittsburgh porch”, a phrase city locals use as a verb, because “porching” is a beautifully actionable tradition. I love this plot of land and, unequivocally, know that we are called to make our roots spread from this very spot. It only took a 13-year detour in Europe before the Father deemed me ready to return home and face this task, now resting in my hand. My story, like yours, is as complex as it is powerful. From dining in French vineyards to sobbing in pediatric hospital rooms, my truth remains:
The pursuit by your enemy will not prevail over the power of your calling.
Together, we will take our broke-down seasons – complex with kicking, screaming, and on-the-floor-lying – and use these earned muscles to kick some kingdom butt.
It’s an honor to have you here, and I look forward to knowing more of you. My passions are interior design, entertaining, travel, my crazy kids and, especially, living outside the typical Christian box. I’m the girl who can lead worship at church, mentor young women and then throw crazy parties for my girlfriends where we mix cocktails from our well-stocked house bar and dance the night away.
It’s a start.
